In your small group, analyze one major event from the U.S. Red Power Movement (links listed below). Answer the document-based questions for your event-specific primary sources. A. The Occupation of Alcatraz (Documents E-G) B. The Trail of Broken Treaties (Documents H-J) C. Wounded Knee II (Documents K-L) 4. For your respective event, also identify what groups organized the event, who is participating in the event, what is the goal of the event, and is this event part of the dominant narrative about the American Indian Movement—why or why not? 5.
